Who is in your Heart?

Satan is cunning intruder

He barges through the heart’s door without shame

Whether cracked or closed, he forces in, none could be ruder

He tempts & calls you by your sins, but Christ calls you by your name

Christ patiently waits at the door of your heart

So peaceful, so polite, He knocks again and again

Calling your name; the Holy Spirit He does impart

Will you surrender your all to Him?

Roll away the things of the world with all their folly and vice

Tell Satan, “Get hence! Here you don’t belong."

Let Christ come in, the One who paid redemption’s price

Lock Satan out and keep Christ in, you’ll be happy all the day long
