Galatians 3: 24
3:24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster [to bring us] unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
The law has no power to pardon the transgressor, but it points him to Christ Jesus, who says to him, I will take your sin and bear it myself, if you will accept me as your substitute and surety. Return to your allegiance, and I will impute to you my righteousness. You will be made complete in me. {RH May 7, 1901, Art. A, par. 3}
Without the law, there is no sin. Sin is the transgression of the law, and the law points us to Jesus. Jesus is our great sin bearer if we accept Him as our substitute and surety. We need to acknowledge our transgressions as our sins are ever before us. It is by the blood of Christ that we are made whole. Without His blood, there is no remission of sin. His blood cleanses us from all unrighteousness. God hates the sin, but he loves the sinner, and all manner of sin shall be forgiven unto men. If we return unto Him, He will redeem us. Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. John 1: 29.
Dear heavenly Father,
We thank You for giving us the law, our schoolmaster, that we might be justified by faith. Though we come to You as sinners, You still welcome us with love. We thank You for the sacrifice You made on our behalf, out of love for Your children. We thank You for bearing our sin for us and for imputing unto us Your righteousness. For taking away the sin of the world. We thank You for redeeming us. We pray that we continue to receive Your power to overcome sin that we would sin no more and be granted the honor to sit with You on Your throne. We pray that You will save us so that we will see You in heaven forever more. In the name of Christ Jesus, we pray. Amen.
