Colossians 2: 10

2:10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

Through His sacrifice, human beings may reach the high ideal set before them, and hear at last the words, You are complete in Him, not having your own righteousness, but the righteousness that He wrought out for you, Your imperfection is no longer seen; for you are clothed with the robe of Christ’s perfection. {1SAT 334.3}

At the cross, Christ Jesus took all our sins upon Himself that we would be made righteous. He redeemed us, and our righteousness is of the Lord’s. There is nothing we can do on our own, or by any of our own works, to receive Christ’s righteousness. It is only by the blood of Christ can there be remission of sins. How can we receive this gift? Confess and repent of your sins, pray for forgiveness, surrender your life to Christ Jesus and declare Him your Lord and Savior. Ask and it shall be given you, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you. For God will give the Holy Spirit to them that ask. Believe on Him, and you will be complete in Him.

Dear Lord in heaven,

We thank you for the sacrifice You made on our behalf. You love us so much that You gave up Your Son to take our sin upon Himself so that we would have everlasting life. We are sorry we ever sinned against You and pray for forgiveness. We pray that You take off our filthy rags and clothe us in Your robe of righteousness. We pray for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit to lead us and guide us and keep us on a safe path that leads to Your heavenly kingdom. May we honor and glorify Your name, and let not our will, but let Thy will be done. We thank You and praise You, in the name of Christ Jesus, we pray. Amen.
