Psalm 103:20
103:20 Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.
Christ’s Object Lessons 176
It would be well to consider that in all our work we have the co-operation and care of heavenly beings. Invisible armies of light and power attend the meek and lowly ones who believe and claim the promises of God. Cherubim and seraphim and angels that excel in strength—ten thousand times ten thousand and thousands of thousands—stand at His right hand, “all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation.” Hebrews 1:14. {COL 176.3}
Angels are encamped all about us. They are unseen witnesses to all we do or say. By these angel messengers, a faithful record is kept of the words and deeds of the children of men. As ministering spirits, they are here to minister to those who shall be heirs of salvation. If we keep the commandments of God and the Faith of Jesus, one day, we will be higher than angels. Heb 1:13,14 1Cor 6:3. Imagine that. So, let us hearken unto the voice of God and keep our eyes on Jesus.
Our Father, God Almighty
We thank You for giving us this privilege and opportunity to once again come to You in Thanksgiving and prayer. We are here to hearken unto Your voice, to receive a blessing from You on high. Grant us wisdom and understanding to fully receive the message You have for us today. We pray for the outpouring of Your Holy Spirit on everyone that hears Your voice, that we may receive Your character and forever be changed. We thank You for being with us, for watching over us and keeping us safe.. Forgive us of our sins, the known and the unknown. Let all our words and deeds be favorable and well pleasing in Your sight that we may glorify Your name. These things we ask and pray, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
