Luke 17: 5
17:5 And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.
Increasing Faith—
You have to talk faith, you have to live faith, you have to act faith, that you may have an increase of faith; and thus exercising that living faith you will grow to strong men and women in Christ Jesus (Manuscript 1, 1889).
Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. And, faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. The Bible is full of prophecies fulfilled. Christ has told us He tells of these things before they happen, so when they happen, you may believe. So many atheist scientists set out to disprove the bible, but inevitably, as they find more and more evidence to prove the Bible is true, then they surrender their life to Jesus. We are to walk by faith, not by sight. While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen [are] temporal; but the things which are not seen [are] eternal. 2 Corinthians 4: 18. Exercise your faith daily, and pray to God that He increases your faith.
Our Father, which art in heaven,
We come into Your presence through prayer, and give You thanks for Your Word and all of Your wonderful prophecies that have been fulfilled. Satan and his agencies are always working to fill our thoughts with doubt, but we believe that Jesus is our risen Savior who will fulfill all His promises, as His promises are sure. Pray for us as You prayed for Peter, that our faith fail not. Increase our faith and help our unbelief, keeping us always looking forward to the eternal things, which are not seen. Help us to exercise that living faith daily, that we may grow strong in You. We thank You for hearing and answering our prayers, in the name of Christ Jesus, we pray. Amen.
