Isaiah 61:1
61:1 The spirit of the Lord GOD [is] upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to [them that are] bound;
God calls for all to come into harmony with Himself. He will receive them if they will put away their evil actions. By a union with the divine nature of Christ, they may escape the corrupting influences of this world. It is time for every one of us to decide whose side we are on. The agencies of Satan will work with every mind that will allow itself to be worked by him. But there are also heavenly agencies waiting to communicate the bright rays of the glory of God to all that are willing to receive Him. It is truth that we want, precious truth in all its loveliness. Truth will bring liberty and gladness (Manuscript 43, 1908). { 4BC 1154.2 }
These are precious truths spoken by our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus. These truths will make you free from the bondage of sin. Jesus calls us to come to Him, rather than to the agencies of Satan. By making the right decision, you may enjoy the liberty and gladness that these truths will bring. The spirit of the Lord is available to all who would receive it. But we must first put away our evil action, the corrupting sins that are the influences of this world. Dear Jesus, let us all come into harmony with You so that we may be received by You in Your second coming.
Dear Lord,
We thank You for giving us the privilege of joining ourselves to You, which gives us the power to be made free of sin. We pray that You will help us put away all our evil actions, to overcome the evils and temptations of this world, even as You also overcame. We pray that You will help us come into harmony with You, to be as one in Your divine nature. We thank You for giving us these precious truths that bring liberty and gladness. Thank You for making Your spirit available to all who seek Your glory. We thank You and praise You. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
