Angels Will Assist Us in Answer to Prayer—When about to speak passionately, close your mouth. Don’t utter a word. Pray before you speak, and heavenly angels will come to your assistance and drive back the evil angels, who would lead you to dishonor God, reproach His cause, and weaken your own soul.—( Testimonies for the Church 2:82.) {Pr 50.2}
Angels Will Come to Our Side in Answer to Prayer—The guardianship of the heavenly host is granted to all who will work in God’s ways and follow His plans. We may in earnest, contrite prayer call the heavenly helpers to our side. Invisible armies of light and power will work with the humble, meek, and lowly one.—(Selected Messages 1:97.) {Pr 50.3}
When Satan rebelled, he drew a third of the angels from heaven into his confederacy. These demons do Satan’s bidding for him. However, we are not to despair. We have heavenly angels by our side, and there are more for us then there are for Satan. God keeps a hedge of His heavenly angels round about us ready to assist and fend off the evil angels, Satan’s demons. As long as you follow in God’s ways and follow His voice, God will keep you on a safe path, the path that leads to the heavenly kingdom. Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Dear heavenly Father,
We come to You in the name of Christ Jesus, our redeemer, rejoicer, vindicator, Lord and Savior, our Master. We thank You for paying the ransom on our behalf that frees us from sin. For giving us the victory over sin on the cross at Calvary. Even though Satan is a defeated foe, he employs demons and other people to tempt us into sin to gain a foothold to our souls. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. We thank You dear God for keeping a hedge round about us of Your heavenly angels to keep us safe from Satan, his demons, and all the people that he works through. We pray that Your angels will continually drive back the evil angels as we come to You in prayer. We pray always to have Your angels ready to assist us in this spiritual warfare. We call for Your heavenly helpers, the invisible army of light and power, to our side. We thank You for giving us the advantage over Satan, as there are more angels for us than there are demons for him. We thank You for Your promise that angels will assist us and will come to our side in answer to prayer. Help us to be diligent in seeking Your face, and to follow in Your ways and in the plan You have for us in our life. Help us to stay on a safe path, not to veer to the left or to the right, but on the strait path that leads to Your heavenly kingdom. We are sorry we have ever sinned against You, we repent of our sins, and pray that You forgive us of all our sins, the known and the unknown, and wash us clean in the blood of Christ. We thank You for hearing and answering our prayers, in the name of Christ Jesus, we pray. Amen.
